HISTORICALLY FUCKED
is a four way entanglement. It is trying to make short songs at-once but also to destroy them then too. It is about playing and laughing at playing, and it is about not doing either of those things sometimes. Sometimes it is to do with talking, howling or grunting, and sometimes it is to do with hitting and rubbing. It has to do with some of the four people who do it, who each share the same duties, It has to do with improvising a barrel to encase themselves in and then proceeding to kick their way out of it.
“brings to mind the very disparate approaches of both The Fall and the John Zorn-composed trio of Patton-Baron-Dunn, without really sounding like either of them.”
This show will be a celebration of a new album Aliven Wool released on Heavy Petting.

TRIPLE NEGATIVE
Madame Tlank & Clinical Wasteman & others. Bayern Tāmaki Makaurau/northsouth London, since 1989/2003/2016.
Vulnerable adults born in the wrong place, put out too tender & possessed by spite. There’s nothing not superficial about it: an animus nursed with bad bad grace. Absentee panelbeating (Tascam stand-ins), raised voices, knock-off Glock & cheap Vamvakaristic Spiel.
Incorporates Philosophie Queen (+microcosmically: THE MEAN STREAKS). May contain traces of Heliogabalus, $urp!u$, Aufgehoben & S.P.U.D.
“Death-affirming!” - Dean ‘Sonny’ Blount
“Just stop feeding them” - Dean Swift

JESSICA HICKIE-KALLENBACH
SInger/one quarter of Glasgow songcraft experimentalists Still House Plants, Jessica Hickie-Kallenbach's work is concerned with value in the immaterial and everyday. Through text, film, and varying media, her work intimately observes the translation of experience, with the internet acting as both informant and facilitator.
