The Toy Museum Folk Club is Brighton's newest traditional folk night, bringing the very best acts to the unique setting of Brighton Toy and Model Museum. Come and watch intimate acoustic sets from the finest folk talents, and explore the train sets, model planes and traditional children's toys on display in the museum.

Jim Causley is one of the most renowned names on the English folk scene. Described by Mojo magazine as 'the finest singer of his generation', he's released some of the most iconic folk albums of the 21st century and been nominated for no less than 6 BBC Folk Awards. His work champions, above all else, the music of the West Country, where he grew up.

We are delighted to have Jim joining us for our second season of events at The Toy Museum Folk Club. It is certain that you've never seen Jim Causley perform a gig quite like this, in the incredible surroundings of the Brighton Toy and Model Museum. This is a chance to catch Jim in a unique space, bringing his music to an intimate audience of fans, vintage stuffed toys and model trains!

Support will come from Germa Adan, whose music gathers songs from the folk traditions in the various countries she has lived in, from her native Haiti, to the US and, finally the UK. An unmissable rising star in folk, she's worth the ticket price alone!
