Event information

A live documentary played out in the dance. A personal story on E’s and Euphoria.
It’s not what you think — this is something you never raved to before.

Word of Warning presents Will Dickie's The Rave Space in the decaying splendour of Hulme’s NIAMOS on Thu 28 Feb at 8pm (doors 7.30pm)

A 90-minute mix of jungle music, immersive theatre, spoken word, and ritual within a DJ set — The Rave Space deconstructs the DJ’s role as a status symbol, creating an authentic nightclub experience that is at once intimate and transcendent. http://willdickie.co.uk/TheRaveSpace

Pay What You Decide (cash only) in person on the evening. Age advisory: 18+.
A standing event, some seats will be available for access. With no interval, The Rave Space lasts approximately 90 minutes and is followed by a DJ set until 11pm (staying/dancing optional!) Features a combination of spoken word, amplified music, flashing lights.
Please contact us for specific age + access information: you can get in touch with Word of Warning by emailing info@habmcr.org or calling 0161 232 6086 (07488 308 111 on the night).

Please note: part of the charm of this event is the surroundings – the faded grandeur of Hulme’s NIAMOS – a gently decaying old theatre having life breathed back into it. All that atmosphere comes at a cost – it’s a big old unheated building – so please WRAP UP WARM, WEAR LAYERS, and be prepared to get moving.
Also: if you have any access requirements, please do talk to us first and we can try and meet the building’s challenges together.
Finally: if you find you can’t make it, please let us know so someone else can use the ticket.
