It's a double headline, Britain's Got Talent special this month at Willingham!

Custard Comedy is back at Willingham on October 11th! Our latest night, at Willingham Social Club, features Britain's Got Talent stars Nick Page and Mandy Muden. The night begins at 8.15pm and tickets start at just £10.

With storytelling comics there's a moment where the audience asks themselves 'I wonder if that's true?'. With Nick Page (English Comedian of the year 2017, Britain's Got Talent Semi Finalist 2018) there is more doubt, because the stories are so outlandish, and yet at the same time there's the sure knowledge that every story is true, and that his is a life lived from disaster to disaster.

He's definitely one of those people you shouldn't like but do. He has an enviable gag rate, with each story and routine filled with set ups, call backs and devastating punchlines. His stories are unique, yet relate to everyone. Everyone has felt frustrated by the legal system, nobody else has tried to go to prison to prove a point. Everyone watches daytime TV, nobody else has been sacked from it for an incident involving a Russian call girl and an antique rocking horse. "The very best storyteller on the circuit." Rhod Gilbert.

Mandy Muden is a stand-up comedian and sit-down magician. Described as like 'Alison Steadman playing a beauty consultant doing Tommy Cooper-style magic – but without the fez', Mandy would take that as a compliment. With an act made for the digitally-enhanced age, Mandy has audiences astounded with both the brilliance of some (certainly not all) of her magic and in hysterics at her off-the-cuff one-liners and observations. She was a semi finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2018.

Hannah Silvester's set combines frank and honest stand up comedy with a warm delivery and the occasional comedy song thrown into the mix. Viciously, hilariously blunt. Steve Bennett, Chortle.

Our MC is Lou Conran. I'm a comedian, writer, performer, and ‘a superlative storyteller’ – Edinburgh Guide. And I've been performing stand up since 2005 all over the UK and more recently Australia, and I bloody love MCing. I have supported, amongst others, Sarah Millican, and Joe Lycett on tour and was a finalist in the English Comedian of the Year in 2017.
