The Toy Museum Folk Club is Brighton's newest traditional folk night, bringing the very best acts to the unique setting of Brighton Toy and Model Museum. Come and watch intimate acoustic sets from the finest folk talents, and explore the train sets, model planes and traditional children's toys on display in the museum.

One of the most remarkable folk records of 2018 was Bird in the Belly's startling debut. Very much a project born around the Brighton area, the record combined the crystalline vocals of Hickory Signal's Laura Ward with the 'beautiful growl' (Daily Express) of Jinnwoo. This pair, alongside Adam Ronchetti and Tom Pryor, have created stunning sounds - and now we brace ourselves for album #2.

Support comes from Bill Jones, who this year made her return to the folk scene with her album 'Wonderful Fairytale'. After winning the Horizon Award at the BBC Folk Awards in 2001 and taking a 'short break' from music in 2004 to focus on family, it's a long overdue but very welcome return. The new album is gorgeous, and we're thrilled to have her join us at the Toy Museum Folk Club this November.
