Two For Joy and The Magpie's Nest present an evening of two up and coming alt-folk acoustic bands - Blue Rose Code and Urusen.

From Edinburgh and Durban (SA), via the Isle Of Lewis and Bethnal Green come London alt-folk 3-piece, Blue Rose Code, with a growing legion of fans that includes Lou Rhodes, James Yuill and Polly Paulusma.

Urusen are a fresh and original five-piece, recently highlighted as 'British breakthrough talent' (Music Week) and 'one to watch' (Metro newspaper). A soft acoustic sound with beautiful harmony singing - just what "the nest" ordered...

Come and check out both these bands in the intimate settings of the Old Queen's Head pub, before you see them at all the summer festivals!
