Joshua Blackmore - SiZE

Drummer Joshua Blackmore performs an energetic set of brand new material promising gnarly bass, crunchy synthesizers, and dizzying beats.

Joshua Blackmore has performed with Troyka, Strobes, Tiny Beast, Squarepusher, Marius Neset and Bill Laurance. Marking the release of his debut solo EP, he brings his brand new band to the Cambridge Jazz Festival.

Joined by Matt Calvert and Tom Cawley this promises to be a unique and energetic performance. Expect angular riffs, euphoric synth layers, and immersive beats.

Award-winning pianist, composer and band-leader Tom Cawley presents a new project - a solo set of improvised electronic music. Influenced mainly by the sound world of Aphex Twin and Squarepusher, Tom weaves beats, melody and harmony together: warm lushness to large, analog mayhem!
