Brum's original punks The Prefects became The Nightingales enjoying cult status in the 80s, recording 8 sessions for John Peel's radio show. Re-grouped in 2004, they've released several albums and toured all over the UK & Europe. Current line-up includes Robert Lloyd, (The Prefects), Andreas Schmid, James Smith and brilliant drummer Fliss Kitson.

Latest LP 'Four Against Fate' out now. Looking forward to King Rocker- a documentary feature film about the group written by Stewart Lee, directed by Michael Cumming.
