POST WAR YEARS

"One of our new favourite bands" - MTV
"They've got the tunes and the ability and are indisputably ones to watch!” - ROUGH TRADE
The almost inseparable lives of Henry (Vox / Guitars / Keys), Simon (Vox/ Guitars/ Keys) Tom (Vox/ Bass) and Fred (Drums) have been the catalyst for a somewhat unique live experience.
3 members of the band regularly switch instruments and lead vocal duties, as well as performing intricate harmonies.
It’s their off-kilter, danceable tunes which have won them ardent fans in Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens, BBC 6Music’s Tom Robinson and XFM’s John Kennedy and Eddy Temple-Morris.
The band have received loving press from NME, The Fly, The Guardian, Artrocker, been played on MTV and E4 Music, recorded live sessions for Radio 1, BBC 6Music and XFM and earlier in the year, played the SXSW Festival in Texas where they won rave reviews from the American press for their live shows.
Post War Years will be playing material from their acclaimed debut album ‘The Greats And The Happenings’ which was recorded and produced by the band themselves, with their sound being honed by Radiohead’s engineer/mixer Graeme Stewart. A band not to be missed!

“8-bit electro bleep sensations” – BBC
We welcome Reading and Northampton’s favourite 8 bit sons to Windsor. If you are unfamiliar with their experimental sound, they mix classic game sounds from consoles like the Atari, Commodore 64 and Gameboy with layers of distorted guitars and vocals to create a unique live experience.
They’ve been played on Radio 1, gained a fan in XFM’s Eddy Temple-Morris and supported his band Losers on tour. The band recently came back from playing Tignes Festival in France and are due to play Glade and the Secret Garden Party in the coming months.

Vienna Ditto recently received the highest ever score from BBC Berkshire’s “The Demo Panel” and have been picked to play the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury. They describe their sound as rockabilly/electronica with influences ranging from Screamin' J Hawkins through Plumb Djs to Micachu and the Shapes.
DJs
