Lamb and Wolf's only gig this Summer sees us teaming up with Comfortable on a Tightrope to bring you a lineup even tastier than Islington Mill's BBQ.
>From early evening onwards we'll be lighting the BBQ with dj's playing some top notch music before our bands take to the stage from 8.30 onwards. Live sets from:
MARNIE STERN
Taking some of the busiest percussion you're likely to hear and combining it with mindblowing guitar playing, Marnie Stern manages to combine technical brilliance with an exhilirating pop sensibilty.
Such is the instant appeal of her music, her early bedroom recordings quickly earned her a deal with KILL ROCK STARS as well as an admirer in the form of Hella's Zach Hill (who went on to produce and play on both of her albums).
One of the first ever gigs we put on 2 years ago, we are thrilled to have her back and if you still haven't heard her give your ears a treat HERE >>> http://www.myspace.com/marniestern1
NISENNENMONDAI
Japanese three-piece Nisennenmondai return to Manchester after last year's storming show at the Deaf Institute.
Combinging krautrock beats with clanging guitars, the band have become a staple of Tokyo's underground music scene, sharing stages with the likes of Lightning Bolt, Battles and No Age through the years.

TARTUFI
San Francisco duo, much praised for their awe-inspiring live sets and loop heavy soundscapes, Lynne Angel and Brian Gorman have developed their craft into an art form.
Their latest album Nests of Waves and Wire was produced by Tim Green (whose credits include Melvins, Sleater Kinney and The Fucking Champs) and is available now on Southern Records.

After you've finished gorging yourself on burgers and our feast of live music, we invite you to stick around until the early hours for a drink and a dance until you're completely joyed out.
