In association with Brook’s Blues Bar the Club is excited to welcome back a legend in the music industry.

Dana Gillespie (Record Mirror “Top Pop Ladies”, voted five times “Top British Female Blues Vocalist” by the British Blues Connection & Blueprint magazine & elevated to their Hall Of Fame) began recording in the mid-1960s, starting out in the folk genre before branching out into pop, achieving success with her 1965 single ‘Thank You Boy’. Since then she has released over seventy albums, mainly in the blues genre, her first musical love. Dana has also recorded/performed with the likes of Sir Elton John, Jimmy Page, David Bowie, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Mick Jagger & Ronnie Wood and featured in numerous theatre and film productions. Bob Dylan invited her to perform as support on his 1997 UK Tour as he has been a fan of hers since the 1960s.

Dana will be accompanied by the premier UK keyboard player and Hot-Shot Boogie pianist, Dino Baptiste with Harry Whitty on percussion/drums.
