Is it a place, a feeling or the people in it?

Voz Theatre invites you to an afternoon of storytelling through photography, music and spoken word.

An exhibition on the themes of home and identity will present photos from our men’s photography group and artwork from a group of Y5 children at Sharrow School. This will be followed by a short multilingual performance of spoken word, music and dance by a group of local women from different cultural backgrounds, exploring the links between past, present and future generations of women and connecting our community in Sheffield to other places around the world. The performance will culminate in a shared meal cooked by the wonderful Ammi’s Kitchen.

This event is a collaboration between Voz Theatre and Family Voice. Voz Theatre is working with the local community in Nether Edge and Sharrow to create theatre and arts projects on issues that matter to them.
