Event information
Come along and learn more about the traditional music of Jewish eastern Europe. Ilana will teach klezmer melodies, including traditional ornamentation.
The workshop will also cover accompaniment, historical background and information about the modes and dance steps associated with the tunes. All instruments are welcome and no ability to read music is necessary, but participants should be able to find notes on their instruments with confidence.
Singers and interested listeners are also welcome to register and participate.
