The Fleur-de-Lys Club is proud to host the London date of Colin MacIntyre's 'Island Tour'.

Colin MacIntyre released the critically acclaimed album 'Island' earlier this year 'confirming him as a major British songwriting force' (The Guardian). This is a very special show to see Colin MacIntyre and his stripped down band perform songs from 'Island'.

Voted by the Scottish public as the 12th best Scottish Aritst of all time the Hebridean, Colin MacIntyre, under the Mull Historical Society pseudonym, has released 3 acclaimed albums: Loss (2001), Us (2003) & This Is Hope (2004). And since releasing under his own name, we’ve seen from the songwriter, producer, and now writer, ‘The Water’ (2008), Produced by Lemon Jelly’s Nick Franglen and dubbed ‘pop perfection’, and hot on its heels comes his most stripped-back, self-production, ‘Island’ (2009), MacIntyre’s 5th album.

This band of country folk rockers are something really special. With an array of beautiful songs, written by ex-Mojave 3/ Slowdive's Ian McCutcheon, and live boy/girl harmonies The Loose Salute have been compared to Fleetwood Mac and The Magic Numbers. Nat comes to the Lexington armed with his new band and new songs playing his unique brand of folk tinged rock n roll. Nat has recently been on tour with the River Rat Pack, which followed both US and UK tours supporting The Kooks. Nat Jenkins is a very exciting emerging UK talent and the Fleur-de-Lys Club is very excited to welcome him to the Lexington.
