Oxjam Manchester Takeover

Event information

Multi-venue wristband event showcasing upcoming and established local talent to portray true diversity and to use the power of music to raise money for Oxfam’s Here and Now Climate Change Campaign.
Spanning 8 venues including Common, Odd, Matt & Phreds, Mint Lounge, Night & Day, Nexus Art Café, The Northern, Apotheca and Dough.
Expect an eclectic array of cultural affairs – from live music, art performances, dance, poetry readings to comedy, galleries and impromptu performances. It’s all a bit spontaneous on the 25th, and we want you to get interactive.

Line up includes:

SUNSHINE UNDERGROUND (DJ set), THE PARIS RIOTS (full band, acoustic), SUZUKI METHOD, SHMOO, MAY 68, RICH REASON, Paul Latham Jazz Quartet, Liz Green, Sophie's Pigeons, Kamal Arafa, Meadow, Aidan Smith, Rainbow Trout, Briggzy, The Minx, Walton Hesse, Crooked Rooks, Extra Love, Honeyfeet, Comfortable on a Tightrope collective, Louis Barrabas & The Bedlam Six, Graham Massey, Girl Peculiar, Deadly Brotherhood of the Gun, Acid Brass with The Fairey Band, Paddy Steer.

Wristbands will be available to be exchanged at Bluu, 85 High St, Northern Quarter, M4 1BD, from 12:30pm Sunday until 9.30pm at night.
