Songsmith & author The Wanderbird has preached his unique brand of country/folk story songs from street corners to festival stages across the globe since 2004.

Jay’s songs draw from a deep well of rural blues, gospel, country, and folk songwriting traditions. The characters and story's from his childhood in the Ozark Mountains are frequent visitors, alongside the wisdom gained from a life spent wandering among the underground and outcasts of society.

His dedication to the magic of live music is unwavering, and a cornerstone of his musical ethos. With one eye on the road ahead, and both ears bent towards the tall tales that make up the journey, he walks his own wayfaring path.
