The Project40 Ensemble refreshes the repertoire other ensembles do not reach. In our restless spirit of adventure we celebrate Robin Holloway's 80th birthday with Fantasy Pieces and the Overture on a Nursery, revive Arthur Bliss's Knot of Riddles, Rupert Bawden conducts the suite from his Sailor's Tale, plus a new work by Sam Gray and the London Premiere of the Flute Concerto by Anthony Burgess (better known as the novellist).
