Live spoken word event with a reading and Q&A from award-winning children’s author, Stuart White, who will be reading from his new YA sci-fi novel, THE NAMELESS.
Stuart White is a writer and secondary school teacher, who has an undeterred passion for helping people. He runs WriteMentor, an online community that helps writers to write and publish children’s books with the support of authors and industry experts.
Stuart has also published thrilling middle grade novel, GHOSTS OF MARS, winner of the Writeblend Book Awards 2023.
Stuart was included in The Bookseller’s 2021 list of Rising Stars in the publishing industry. In 2020 and 2022 he was placed on the SCWBI Undiscovered Voices longlist and named as an Hononary Mention for his novels ‘Ghosts of Mars’ and ‘Astra FireStar and the Ripples of Time’.
After the reading and Q&A with Stuart, we have a fabulous selection of writers who will perform on the open mic, featuring picture books, poetry, middle grade and YA.
All profits from this event go to Book Trust, a charity which works year-round to get children and families reading.
