So, the criminally overdue second Smokers Die Younger album is finally with us and available for purchase from iTunes NOW.

Support on the evening comes from Leeds' The Medusa Snare. Formed from the ashes of The Manhattan Love Suicides, the 'Snare are due to release their debut LP through Squirrel Records on Monday 28th September. Double album launch? Too right.

The Medusa Snare play fuzzed up minimalist indie pop at full volume. Fans of My Bloody Valentine et al will not be disappointed.

And so to the venue. This is gonna be a SMALL PRIVATE PARTY affair. Numbers are strictly limited, and entrance will be by ADVANCE TICKET ONLY.

The venue itself will be announced on Thursday by We Got Tickets. Rest assured though, the venue's only a short walking distance from town.

It's 3 quid in and it's BYOB. Doors are at 8pm, with last entry at 9.15pm. Re-entry will be available, but y'know it's a PARTY with live bands, not a gig.

A veritable smorgasbord of DJs wil be on hand to take you through to the bitter end.
