Amber Webber and Joshua Wells are both members of Black Mountain: they are also Lightning Dust. Their new album Infinite Light comes on like the missing link between Mazzy Star and The Mamas & The Papas; smoky and downbeat one minute, trippy and harmonious the next. Beautiful.

And by some generous, benevolent fate we have as support their Secretly Canadian stable-mates, Early Day Miners. It feels as though EDM have been around since Year Dot: in fact they first appeared in 2000, but their atmospheric, melancholic music feels like it should always have existed. Think Dakota Suite, Red House Painters; think must arrive early.
