Celebrating the 60's nights at King's Heath's Ritz Ballroom
Presented by: King’s Heath Walk Of Fame0 | BIRMINGHAM: Kings Heath Cricket and Sports Club |
---|---|
P | Saturday 22nd June, 2024 |
N | 7:00pm |
Let King's Heath Walk of Fame transport you back to the 1960's when the only place to be on a Saturday night was the Ritz Ballroom on King's Heath's York Road. The Ballroom owners Ma and Pa Regan gave Birmingham debuts to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks as well as promoting local groups like The Move, The Moody Blues and the Spencer Davis Group.
Just half a mile away from the ballroom's burnt down ruins, King's Heath Cricket & Social Club will host a wonderful re-creation of those 1960's nights with the acclaimed band The 3 Sixties who are very talented musicians in their own right.
Expect to hear a great range of 1960's hits performed to perfection.
Large car park at rear. No 50 bus stops outside. Real Ale Bar. Unreserved seated venue with dance floor.
A great night to remember is guaranteed!
