Pika from Ariampo/Acid Mothers Temple will be playing a rare set of acoustic songs with a special guest assisting her.
Pika is the extraordinary drummer/singer in Afriampo and Acid Mothers Temple. She has also played with Mike Watt recently and is known for her sense of fun and boundless creativity.
Afriampo play Cargo the next day and then ATP.
This will be a very special gig at a new and friendly 'Jamboree' venue just a few minitues from Limehouse DLR Station.

Pavement meets The Fall three piece from Lancashire who spark up a satircal and caustic yet pretty catchy off kilter dirge and some of the best lyrics you’ll hear this year. The band are currently getting a load of airplay on John Kennedy's XFM show and are soon to be featured in Dazed and Confused!!!!!

George played bass in Lazarus Clampfrom 99-2003 and toured with Giant Sand, Laura Cantrell, Mice Parade, Pinback, Herman Dune and at SXSW in 2001 before it became cool. He also Recorded 2 LPs and some singles. He formed Former Utopia when he returned to East London in 2003 and gigged with Chris Brokaw, Thalia Zedek Band, PW Long, Julie Dorion, Swell, Thee More Shallows, Mick Turner (Dirty Three), Damo Suzuki (as Former Utopia VS Cosmic Shenngy) and David Grubbs.
