We're back at Number 28 in Belper on June 21st!

Our headliner is the wonderful David Eagle

In 2018 David began performing stand up comedy.

He was awarded the New Act Of The Year prize at 2018’s Nottingham Comedy Festival. In 2019 he won Bath Comedy Festival’s New Comedian Of The Year and the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian Of The Year.

In 2022 he performed stand up on BBC Radio 4’s topical comedy programme The Now Show. He frequently supports Boothby Graffoe. He also starred in Tony Law and Phil Nichol’s improvised 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show.

Luke Connell is a Newcastle-based stand-up comedian. Gentle, clever and silly, he has been described as a “lovely stage presence” with a “subtle sense of self-deprecation”. He is a regular panellist on the ‘Nerds Just Wanna Have Fun’ comedy show at the Stand Newcastle.

Fil Milton is a terrific gagsmith with over 250 gigs to his name “…polished pun based humour… [Fil] kept the jokes coming to great effect.” Christian Ainscough, Lancaster Guardian June 2023.

Matt Adlington is already a popular M.C in his hometown of Southend, having regularly hosted a variety of comedy shows there, in addition to a number of charity events including several for a major coffee shop chain.

In the short time since taking the performance plunge, Matt has shared the stage with comedy powerhouses; Sean Meo, Jo Caufield and Ricky Grover.

Too nice for her own good, listen to Julie Metcalfe, Teesside’s premier over-thinker, prattle on about the meaning of life and other trivia. “Julie oozes confidence, funny lady who took the roof off.” The Laughing Pug Comedy Club

And all being held together with the grace of a dog on stilts by your compere Rob Coleman

NB - this venue doesn't have a bar (I know, right!).

Fortunately there is a very lovely and cheap pub next door and lots of supermarkets close by. You are very much encouraged to bring your own drink and a room picnic.
