BABY HONEY returns for another night with three great bands playing live sets and DJs putting on everything from the finest selection of indiepop classics and oh-my-god-she-haven't-called-me-in-seven-days northern soul to that Sarah Records B-side you never thought you'd hear on a night out and Swedish indiepop anthems.

We intend to bring London the finest indiepop bands that the world has to offer and a dancefloor full of sweaty, smiling popkids twisting the night away to the very best in C-86, indiepop, post-punk, soul and 60s girl groups.

BANDS:

CATS ON FIRE:
Sounding like Vic Godard and Belle & Sebastian chatting at a bus stop on a partly clouded day we have CATS ON FIRE coming straight outta Finland. Probably the most charming band around with two celebrated albums behind them. Our Temperance Movement was released last year and was an instant must have and we're insanely happy that they will headline our night.

TWIG:
One only has to listen to the smash hit Ciao Ciao Bomb to know that Sweden's TWIG should have been knocking on Alan Hornes door and demanded to be released on Postcard records. Henrik Linden voice combined with the jangliest of guitars and melodies that would make Johnny Marr blush and run for cover.

BETTY AND THE WEREWOLVES:
Featured on the Rough Trade Shops Indiepop '09 compilation and one of the best and most exciting live bands around BETTY AND THE WEREWOLVES bring their feisty garage pop boogie songs to the Buffalo Bar. If they were on the tube they would make you stand up and offer them your seat. Even if it was half empty.
