Formed In Late 2007 by brothers Henry and George Flint. Over time the boys music progressed to the point of needing additional members, recruited not long after were Matthew McAuliffe , Richard Allen and Michael Wilde. After playing for a while and churning out such well known songs as ‘ Girl Next Door’ and ‘Stop, Start Epic.’ the recruitment of the final member Thomas Andrews completed the band you hear today.
Unlike most bands of their age, their average age is just 15, they weren’t concerned with playing School gigs so set their sights on playing the big smoke when Road To V Winners The Rebs invited them up to a London showcase in Victoria Park.
After just 2 gigs the band announced the release of their self-titled debut album and in 3 weeks the band had written, recorded and released the 10 track album, which the Manchester Evening News was later to describe as “a sparkling collection of effervescent indie-pop anthems“. The debut album’s initial pressing sold out in just 2 weeks
In August 2008 the band were nominated as one of the best underage bands in the country on the Huw Stephens Underage Festival Special and went on to support Skint & Demoralised, Scarlet Harlots and appeared on the Wonky Pop Tour (with Example and Flamboyant Bella) and the Skins Manchester party with Fran and Josh and Paper Heroes
The band are due to record a new EP in Feb 2010 featuring current live faves "The Future", "Four To Three", "Silence Provokes"
