Future Shorts are proud to announce a very special launch event for Music Matters, a collective formed by musicians and all those who work in and around music to remind listeners of its enduring value.

Join us on Wednesday 24th March for an exclusive screening of the Music Matters films with djs and live music from some very special acts.

Music Matters is an ongoing project that focuses on some inspirational music brought to you in the form of short animated films by brilliant animators from across the UK. The films - about artists including Nick Cave, Sigur Ros and John Martyn - reveal the stories behind the music: the passion, devotion, trials and tribulations that have forged music's lasting legacy. The dozen and more films focus on music that can't be ignored, music that matters.
