THE LODGER
The Lodger was formulated by Pontefract-born songwriter, singer and guitarist Ben Siddall inside a Leeds bedsit in 2004 as a solo project, quickly becoming a 3, then a 4-piece. After a few well-received 7-inch singles on a variety of independent labels such as Angular Records and Dance to the Radio, a debut album titled “Grown-Ups” was released in June 2007 around the world. This was swiftly followed up by a second record in May 2008, “Life is Sweet” which was released by the legendary Slumberland Records in the USA (The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Crystal Stilts) and coincided with tours of UK, Europe, Japan and USA and festivals. A 4 song EP was released by Elefant Records of Madrid (Camera Obscura, Au Revoir Simone et al) in June 2009 and album three is soon to arrive with added trumpet, saxophone and viola.

INTERNET FOREVER
Internet Forever are Craig Heartbeeps, Christopher Alcxxk and Laura Wolf, three Web 2.0 obsessives who bonded over a shared love of The Unicorns, Why? and the DrownedinSound message board. Their debut single 'Cover the Walls' was a delicious slice of fuzzy lo-fi indiepop which earned 'Single of the Week' merits from both NME Radio and Artrocker Magazine and a 9/10 review from This is Fake DIY.

JUST HANDSHAKES (WE’RE BRITISH)
Just Handshakes, (We’re British) are a four piece currently based in Leeds. Sitting incredibly pretty somewhere between the oscillating pop of Jenny Lewis in her Rilo Kiley days and a doo-wop Metric, their recordings are packed with just crisp choruses and sweetly decorated lyrics. 

Odd splatterings of Casio, a sprinkle of boy/girl backing and a nice line in tip-tap drumming make them all the more enticing.

THE WANDAS
Comprised of members of The Fat Tulips, The Cut-Outs, The Shla-la-las, Mambo Taxi and Airport Girl, The Wandas are a five-piece combo of Fujiyama mamas and papas who gleefully massacre rock’n’roll standards as well as their own original Western Bop confections, wishing they were Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps and ending up as a lo-fi, garage-pop Everly Sisters. Predictably, The Wandas also love Wanda Jackson.
