The last time that Hatcham Social headlined a venue as compact and bijou as the Buffalo was a very long time ago. One of the most exciting bands to have sprung up in the last couple of years, Hatcham Social play big-hearted tunes with a dash of C-86 influenced jangle. Fresh from touring the hell out of their Top 40 debut LP 'You Dig The Tunnel And I'll Hide The Soil' the band are sure to turn the Buffalo Bar into a strange and magical place for the evening.

DOWNDIME

Leeds-based noise pop freaks downdime were formed in 2004 by lead vocalist/guitarist (and ex-Boyracer on the legendary Sarah Records) Gerard McGurn, bassist Ste Grindrod, keyboardist Liz Hensor and drummer Eddy Lines. Taking inspiration from
C86/indiepop bands of the 1980s and 90s such as Rocketship, My Bloody Valentine and The Wedding Present, downdime will shake the walls with their melancholy pop tunes!

THE RACKET

The Racket are a brand spanking new band from London combining members of The Duloks, Official Secrets Act, The Sexual Hot Bitches and Dance Magic Dance to make the kind of music the Ramones would have made, if they were mainly female - and wrote songs about boys.
