Diabel Cissokho & Ramon Goose

Senegalese musician Diabel Cissokho is part of a griot family of musicians with a rich musical heritage. He grew up in Dakar, and started playing the kora at the age of 9. Kora player for Baba Maal for close to three years, he has supported and played with numerous artists, including Nuru Kane, Abdou Diop, Kandia Kouyate and Mama Draba - as well as performing alongside Femi Kuti, Cheikh Lo and Manu Dibango.

Ramon Goose, well-known for his work with experimental/alternative group Nublues and the production of albums by Boo Boo Davis and Billy Jones on the Black & Tan label, and has toured all over Europe with the likes of Eric Burdon, The Blind Boys of Alabama and has performed with James Brown’s bandleader Pee Wee Ellis, plus a short stint with American bluesman Eric Bibb.

Together they will perform songs from their new album 'Mansana Blues', a collaboration that fuses West African Blues, featuring Diabel's virtuosic Kora and Ramon's soulful slide guitar, creating an intense blues experience.

The venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of tables. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, with priority given to diners. If you’d like a table, please ensure you arrive early.
