JON GOMM PRESENTS... with Brendan Croker

This is part of a special series of gigs hosted by Leeds' own acoustic guitar virtuoso Jon Gomm, where he brings one of his favourite artists he has met while touring the length and breadth of Britain to play in Leeds.

Jon first guest is the inimitable BRENDAN CROKER - Leeds legend, Notting Hillbilly, and long time musical collaborator with the likes of Mark Knopfler and Steve Phillips. Brendan's music is all about putting his whole soul into every note he plays, his style plundering the rootsier sides of blues, country and jazz. And Brendan started off the "Collaborators" series of gigs in Leeds in 2004 which are the inspiration for Jon's special residency now.

The concert will feature one set from Jon, one set from Brendan, and finally something to make the show unique and one to remember - a bonus set of some live collaboration with Jon AND Brendan making some music together!

The Grove Inn is a little pub tucked away in the city centre, and is the spiritual home of acoustic music Leeds. It is small meaning the gig will be truly intimate and the atmosphere very special, but obviously it is very likely to sell out.
