DAN MICHAELSON AND THE COASTGUARDS
Following his stint as the singer-songwriter in the critically acclaimed Absentee, Dan Michaelson is now the whisky barrel baritone and short-legged leader of Dan Michaelson and the Coastguards. Dan and his Coastguards, who are a shining assortment of London's most talented musicians, have spent the first half of 2010 busy handcrafting nine new songs for their forthcoming album 'Shakes', which is due for release on October 4th. Inspired in equal parts by soul and country classic song writers, 'Shakes' ushers in a fresh take on the humble love song, and draws a clean line in the dust kicked up by Dan Michaelson and the Coastguards.

MICKTRAVIS Micktravis is the continuing sporadic alias of ex tompaulin songwriter Jamie Holman. Tompaulin enjoyed a three LP and seven single career, notching up two John Peel Sessions, while collaborating with members of The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Clientele and The Left Outsides along the way. micktravis is currently playing solo, stripped back to voice and guitar and mostly sings about girls and fighting. Both of which he loses.
