A talk at The Architecture Foundation by Finn Williams and David Knight, in The Skyroom - a new rooftop pavilion for the AF.
A two way talk about Permitted Development: 'the planning permission we already have'. Though apparently at the humble end of the planning system, recent changes to Permitted Development rights are a treasure trove of architectural potential. The new breed of lean-tos, loft conversions, sheds and summerhouses they allow could have far-reaching and surprising consequences for UK towns and countryside. Williams and Knight will present recent projects which explore and exploit Permitted Development rules, and discuss this work with invited planning professionals.
Concessionary tickets are EXCLUSIVELY for AF members.
Students, over 65s and unemployed are eligible for free AF membership.
