Event information

MIE Music is highly honoured to present Dieter Moebius, a founder member of legendary German electronic group Cluster, at the Mill.
Dieter Moebius

Moebius is The Godfather of the German Electronic Scene. Moebius studied art in Brussels and Berlin and met there Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Conrad Schnitzler (Tangerine Dream). They founded a band Kluster in 1969. After the departure of Schnitzler, they changed their name to Cluster. Later Moebius and Roedelius founded the band Harmonia with Michael Rother (Neu!), which also collaborated with Brian Eno.

From his early work with the pioneering Krautrock band Cluster to his later solo recordings, Dieter Moebius remained one of the most innovative and prolific voices in contemporary electronic music, anticipating movements from ambient to techno years before the fact

Moebius has always been interested in straightforward or handmade rhythms and the use of electronic, eccentric and unpredictable machine noises

He is nothing less than a legend and we're looking forward to an excellent show

Qa'a

QAA is a psychedelic band from Barcelona that formed in 2006. It was created with the intention to follow a secret musical genealogy that was believed forgotten by all, radiating music with no stylistic adherence where magic, repetition and rituals prevail above all else.

Their first album Vesprada won the OFF section at LEM international experimental festival in 2007 enabling them to record their second album Chien that was mixed and mastered to tape in Faust Studio in Germany thanks to the support of Hans Joachim Irmler of Faust.
