In Search of Sound: Excursions from the Global Underground is a new documentary about electronic music and the first feature length film about the post millenial global music underground. Produced by Brian Parsons and Amber Halford, with contributions from over twenty film-makers, the film features over fifty artists and labels, including Xeno & Oaklander, Mogwai, Tobias Bernstrup, Mouse on Mars, Led Er Est, Shapeshifter, Martial Canterel, and explores the emotional effects of sound and the potential for hybrids, fusions, new styles and genres.
