Collectives offer a mode of film-making, distribution, and exhibition outside the film industry. In this panel discussion four experienced DIY film-makers and curators explore the "why" and "how" of film collectives, survey the current state of collaborative film-making and circulation, and consider how this is changing / might change given new media and the recent budget cuts. The event will include screenings of short films. Come along / get involved / start your own.
