POETRY:
Jamie Thrasivoulou is a Performance Poet/Spoken word artist, and writer of fictional narratives. His work is highly politicised, raw and honest. He writes about class, discrimination, and alternative-lifestyle choices. His first collection "The Best Of A Bad Situation" is forthcoming through Silhouette Press.
Hannah Lowe’s first poetry collection Chick (Bloodaxe, 2013) won the Michael Murphy Memorial Award for Best First Collection and was short-listed for the Forward, Aldeburgh and Seamus Heaney Best First Collection Prizes. In September 2014, she was named as one of 20 Next Generation poets. She has also published three chapbooks: The Hitcher (Rialto 2012); R x (sine wave peak 2013); and Ormonde (Hercules Editions 2014). Her family memoir Long Time, No See was published by Periscope in July 2015 and featured as Radio 4’s Book of the Week. Her second collection, Chan, is published by Bloodaxe. (2016).
Wayne Holloway-Smith was born in Wiltshire and lives in London. He received his PhD in English and Creative Writing from Brunel University in 2015. His poems have appeared in a variety of magazines and anthologies. His pocketbook, Beloved, in case you’ve been wondering was published by Donut Press in 2011. He co-edits the online journal Poems in Which and teaches at the University of Hertfordshire. His first book-length collection, Alarum(Bloodaxe Books, 2017) was shortlisted for the Roehampton Poetry Prize 2017. The final poem in the collection, 'Short', won the Geoffrey Dearmer Prize 2016
MUSIC:
Amanda Wilkin is a singer-songwriter and actress. She’s performed at The Bush Theatre, Ronnie’s Bar, Kings Place and her music is strongly influenced by spirituals and protest songs.
Pembrokeshire- born, London-based Bryde aka Sarah Howells, Is a girl and an electric guitar playing fierce and fragile song. Having written songs since she was 13, they have taken her from school assembly to selling out The Camden Assembly. Now two EPs into her career, having released the stunning, Bill Ryder-Jones produced “EP2” in November 2016, early comparisons have been Sharon Van Etten, Ben Howard and PJ Harvey.
