Emmy the Great (AKA Emma-Lee Moss) already has quite a history. She has performed as a member of the indie folk group Lightspeed Champion, acting as their vocalist for a brief period in 2007 alongside Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, and collaborated with both Fatboy Slim and Tim Wheeler from Ash, on the 'This is Christmas' album. She is a mentor for The Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music - Strummerville and and has worked with Jail Guitar Doors, Billy Bragg's prison-based music charity.
