Ian Shaw
Twice winner of the prestigious BBC Jazz Award, Ian Shaw has been described as “one of the scene’s class acts...” by The Guardian, and “...our finest jazz singer” by Time Out.
Ian will be familiar to regular Vortex goers for his characteristically warm and relaxed shows, delving into the songbooks of Joni Mitchell, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and others as well as his own material.

By the way, this will also be Ian's 50th birthday so expect a very special evening.
