Ever wanted to come and play on the exhibits when the children aren't around? Well - now's your chance. This is the first of our evening opening for adults.

We'll be showing you some explosive and unexpected party tricks that would impress your family and friends at the dinner table and certainly send the festive season off with a bang. Some may be a wee bit too dangerous to try at home...

Santa's invention workshop will also be up and running where you can make yourself some cool little stocking fillers to take away, including decorations for your tree. There will be LEDs... There will be Wham Last Christmas...

Throughout the evening we will be running shows in our Planetarium. These need to be booked, and cost £1 each. We regret that it is not possible to purchase them through this website. You can book in advance by calling our bookings line on 0845 345 1235 (Mon-Fri 9-5), call in to our front desk with your We Got Tickets reservation, or you can buy on the night on a first come first served basis.

And of course, there will be a bar ... with West Country mulled cider and scientific shortbread (OMG).
