Phil Julian/John Macedo
Philip Julian has been an active part of the experimental music underground since the late 1990’s recording numerous works under the name Cheapmachines and under his own name since 2008 in various collaborative and solo performances. He currently lives and works in London, England. Studio recordings and live performances within Europe and North America have focused on the use of analogue electronics (particularly unstable and/or chaotic systems – modular analogue synthesizers, feedback, contact microphones, objects and surfaces) and computer based works.

John Macedo is a sound artist from London. He has incorporated everything from acoustic instruments and environmental sound to analogue and computer synthesis, into compositions, live performances and sound installations. He has a pluralistic approach to composition which focuses on movement, subtle detail, and capturing unrepeatable events while revealing the creative/musical potential in all sounds. He performs solo and in collaboration with other musicians on modular synthesizer, custom-made software and electronics.

This event will be the first time the duo have performed together in London, following acclaimed performances in Brighton and Bristol.

Lama Dalai
Hailing from the foggy, creaky shores of salty Brighton, Lama Dalai is a duo comprising of Joe Henderson and Duncan Harrison. Weaving a formidable blend of conceptual forethought and chance operations, Lama Dalai present a heady froth of found sounds, text and performance.

Aqua Dentata
Long form psychedelic explorations from one man dream machine E. Nuttall. Heavily based in the high vibrations of minimal drone yet far further reaching in scope and ambition than mere portals to somnambulant elevation. Think lucid and exhaustive sonic field work in the human brain; temporary worlds built in low gravity.

Joshua Legallienne
A Brighton-based guitarist exploring the elusive territory between silence and the barely audible. His live sets are wholly improvised, creating sparse soundscapes through an unorthodox approach to the steel string guitar. Although primarily unaccompanied and unamplified, recent performances have incorporated almost-silent sonic objects such as melting blocks of ice.
