Event information

Our last work-in-progress shows come from these two acts who've both gone down a storm at their previous visits to The Stoke...

ANDI OSHO:
Star of Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Stand Up For The Week, Andi has been performing since 2003, and coupled her stand-up career with appearances as a police officer in Waking The Dead, a doctor in Footballer’s Wives and four appearances in Eastenders as a nurse (a different one each time, which technically makes her a qualified medical practitioner).
Andi is now well established as a regular contributor on TV and Radio as well as her continued live work on the stand up circuit including three live solo stand up tours.
Andi’s favourite things include shoes, her mum and cats. Not in that order… actually a little bit in that order.
"Blazing a trail" - The Telegraph
"Perfect delivery" - The Guardian

JAMES DOWDESWELL:
An imaginative storytelling comedian who combines deft stand-up with daft stories, his comedy has travelled as far as Shanghai, Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Bali, France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Australia and Singapore. Dowdeswell has recently appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Celebrity Deal Or No Deal (Channel 4) and Olympics Greatest Moments (BBC). He also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ Extras. He is currently filming in his own comedy show about wine called “James Dowdeswell - Black Belt In Wine.”
“James Dowdeswell is a real master of the comedian’s craft.” Chortle.co.uk

Tickets are £6 here or £8 on the door.
