CitiesWillFall-metal from the early Faith No More mould- rappy vox, proclamations a la hiphop cum MC5 stylee and plenty of guts on all levels.Mute The Maker-This journeys all over the musical map, far from straight metal...proggy it be. Then the lead git man lets rip and it's like Brian May took methedrine and condensed the whole of Don Quixote into a metal lead rip. Kinda. This is mad. Check it out. Gotta admire this! The influence of Black Sabbath enters the fray too....only with Iommi replaced by Satriani. Elevation Falls-Fizzing female fronted punk pop, with some harder edged metal nuances. Your Cat is a Landmine- Alt rock meets indie pop think Foo Fighters meets Biffy Clyro via Cage The Elephant. Mad Dogs-a three piece heavy rock outfit from Manchester with influences including Sabbath, Zeppelin and Orange Goblin. Sounds about right. Do with plenty of groove and apposite playing.
