Peter Brame-Solo singer songer - like Paul Weller meets Olly Murs via B Bragg went the dfistance on Fame Academy a few years ago..Mark Wynn-a wayward talent..Tom Robinson likens him to Mark E Smith and John Cooper Clarke, a Brit Beck type acoustic blues and a talkathon type vocal with northern twang'.Dark House-A duo, with a pretty full and rich sound considering it's just drums n guitar, there's some great folky harmonizing but musically this is more Arcade Fire via the recent Bombay Bicycle club, really strong tunes that build well and have the experimental edge of later period Blur. Crow Hailer-Dreamy folk pop with a wash of late 60's psychedelia, byrds via acid rock with an experimental element that sounds like the more interesting end of radiohead and Pink Floyd. A pretty arresting sound, nice understated vocals and memorable tunes.
