Presented in an unprecedented pairing, 'Ashes to Ashes' and 'Drunk Enough to Say I Love You?' are elliptical, engaging and intimate plays from two of Britain's greatest playwrights. In Pinter's play, a man interrogates a woman about an erotic and disturbing affair she may or may not have once had, whilst Churchill dramatises the post-9-11 'special relationship' between the UK and USA as a fragmented, provocative dialogue between lovers. The public is private; the personal is political.
