"The very best in acoustic music from around London and further afield"
TROMBONE POETRY
From brass bands to big bands, trad jazz to free improvising, symphonies to salsa: Paul Taylor's musical journeys have taken him across Europe to Africa, the USA and Japan. This experience is distilled into a trunkful of poetry, classic standards, original pieces, and spontaneous compositions.
CRIS TANZI
Listen closely for a hint of bittersweet melancholy a touch of hidden longing in the fragile folk pop of Italian singer-songwriter Cris Tanzi.
“What I play is the sound of my life-wherever I go, good or bad, my music will always be with me."
MISSISSIPPI MACDONALD
"Mississippi" Ol MacDonald plays and sings the real delta blues.
Mississippi is the owner of the world's smallest blues museum - he owns one of Robert Cray's guitar picks and a splinter of wood from the shack in which Muddy Waters was born.
JULIE MCKEE
Singer-songwriter-pianist Julie McKee looks at life with a satirical eye, creating stories laced with equal amounts of humour and pathos.
Her witty and searching lyrics are enveloped by catchy melodies that you'll no doubt find yourself whistling after the first listen.
