NEW LEGENDS: THE TUDORS + THE BIMMYS + ALLEGRO + FREEDOM HIGH
THE TUDORS are a pleasing audio ensemble of blues driven indie rock with a splash of country thrown in for good measure. Its diverse sound helped along by solid musicianship and an evidently loyal following.
Said to be a reminiscent of Bluetones circa Britpop 90's, with catchy Oasis style crowd sing-alongs and starting to climb that ladder to be on par with their idols.
THE BIMMYS 'All good songs from a band coming on like an unplugged Jam, or Wreckless Eric maybe & Jack Penate fans wouldn't be disappointed mind you, or those of yous who adore meets the Arctics. Fab choruses that are mega catchy &. ' - Bugbear Promotions
ALLEGRO are just not like every band nowadays. Its not enough to tell tales of spanish transvestites, old boys on the run in spain, pixies enchanting ones dreams, or even to declare that they are gonna steal your city lights (which they undoubtedly will). It's not even enough that these songs are instantly recognisable like one of your old favourites, even thought you know you havent even heard them yet. These are footnotes though my friends, because the true delight is that Allegro are something to believe in. And love godammit. Their cheekiness endearing, the songs enchanting, exuding a fuzzy romance and doffing a cap at the world they have created. This band will steal your hearts and souls and fall in love with you. Just as you will fall in love with them.
FREEDOM HIGH have tremendous talent, is their spirit. Their vibe, passion and sexual edge, combined with very, very good songs that you can dance to, all add up to a fucking great show.
