In the first date of his current UK tour, electronic wunderkind Alaska In Winter (Regular Beat Records) plays the first ever More the Merrier Presents… to raise money for the international development charity, WaterAid.
Alaska In Winter came about when art student Brandon Bethancourt spent a semester recording music in an isolated cabin on the south coast of Alaska. Upon arrival back in New Mexico, he teamed up with Zach Condon of Beirut and began fleshing out his Alaska recordings. The end result was his widely-acclaimed debut album 'Dance Party In The Balkans'.
Following extensive touring, Brandon relocated to Berlin to write and record material for the next Alaska In Winter album, 'Holiday', which was released last year.
More the Merrier is a monthly music night that brings you the best up & coming live acts around, while raising money and awareness for WaterAid.
