After six years of touring and recording with Jamie Cullum, star bass player, composer and arranger Geoff Gascoyne now has a new quartet, and also a new CD on which the group plays his favourite pop songs from the last 30 years arranged for a jazz quartet.

These include songs by The Stylistics, James Taylor, Diana Ross, Cat Stevens, and Earth Wind and Fire, all given a new 'Pop Bop' jazz treatment,
and the group, with Graeme Blevins (alto & soprano sax) and Sebastiaan de Krom (drums), will perform many of them tonight, with guest star guitarist Jim Mullen.
