After last year's frankly ridiculous Soul-Identity boat party with Greg Wilson on The Thames, we just had to do it again, didn't we?

So, for the 2010 Summer Shakedown Boat party this year we've enlisted two very special DJs who really know how to tick all your August Bank holiday boxes. Travelling with us down the river for this pre-Carnival party with a difference are one of Southampton's favourite sons, DJ FORMAT and the irrepressible Wah Wah 45s don DOM SERVINI, both known worldwide for their party rocking abilities. With both men manning the upper deck for the full four hours, you can expect a righteous blend of soul,funk,hip hop, disco and Latin. And with The Golden Jubilee's big open sun deck, there's no better place to experience the full London skyline while catching a few rays (and a few beers).

Downstairs on the lower deck, The CIGARETTES AND SUNSHINE SOUNDSYSTEM will again be joining Soul-Identity's ROB COLEY and this time around, Beatfix's own deep Cratedigger, RAD DAD for an anything goes freestyle session. With one eye firmly on the dancefloor, you can expect the unexpected.

And the fun doesn't stop there, as from 6pm we'll be heading over to the Summer Shakedown AFTER PARTY close by (FREE for all boatgoers) where the boat DJs and a few SPECIAL GUESTS will keep the party bumping way into the early hours of Sunday morning.
