MIKI BERENYI TRIO + NIGHT SWIMMING

Event Information

Miki Berenyi Trio (aka MB3) are Miki Berenyi on vocals/guitar (Lush), Kevin ‘Moose’ McKillop on guitar (Moose) and Oliver Cherer (Gilroy Mere, Aircooled). The three musicians first worked together during Piroshka’s 2021 tour – Miki and Moose being founder members, Ollie joining to play bass.

MB3 was originally formed to promote Miki’s memoir – Fingers Crossed: How Music Saved Me From Success (published Sept 2022) – accompanying her live book events with Lush covers. But as the band gelled, and with offers of gigs throughout 2023, MB3 gathered momentum, touring in the UK, Europe and US throughout 2024.

April 2025 sees the release of their album ‘Tripla’, preceded by the tracks Vertigo, 8th Deadly Sin, Big I Am and Kinch, all released via Bella Union.

Their EU tour late April/early May with Lol Tolhurst (The Cure) was tied in with a collaborative track, ‘Stranger’, also released via Bella Union.)

Night Swimming are a Dream Pop band formed and based in the city of Bath, Somerset. Drawn to music that is atmospheric in nature, they revel in their exploration of ‘…the darker nuances of human experience.’ Describing their sound as ‘…dream pop with subtle shoegaze and trip-hop influences’, with their love of film motivating them to create music with a cinematic aesthetic, Night Swimming invite the listener to visualise, and to indulge their imagination.

Their influences include Wolf Alice, Daughter and Warpaint — and more recently, artists such as Ireland’s finest, Just Mustard — all alongside tribal elders such as Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Radiohead and Slowdive.

Night Swimming are inspired by Slowdive’s ‘…combination of sensory elements’ and the resulting ‘…deepening of emotional response.’
